Remnant is a global movement of believers with an apostolic and prophetic mandate to see people equipped and sent out to the nations.
There is a focus on building healthy homes and families in an environment that brings freedom and healing while also calling individuals and families forwards to the frontlines for this moment of history. This is a place for those who don’t fit the mold and can’t live by the status quo of religion. It is a place for the remnant to find family and community as well as be prepared and trained for the spiritual war we are in.
Nate & Christy Johnston
The ministry's purpose is rooted in the founders' shared history of powerlessness and insecurity.
Despite being taught Christian principles, Nate, raised in instability, and Christy, a Pastor's child, struggled with unhealthy mindsets and a lack of true identity in Christ. Seven years into their marriage, Christy faced severe depression.
Amid rejection by church, friends, and family, they found genuine peace in God, breaking through their darkest moments. In this transformation, God became their hope, foundation, and greatest love. They transitioned from viewing God as a distant taskmaster to discovering a loving, tender, caring, and protective Father. This message of freedom on the cross is now their life's passion.
